Pandemic Alert
Swine flu 'could infect up to half the population'
Health authorities told to set up testing and drug distribution centres in case of autumn outbreak
"Primary care trusts are to set up anti-viral drug distribution centres and swine flu testing clinics amid fears that the infection could spread out of control.
The Chief Medical Officer, Sir Liam Donaldson, wrote to health authorities last week urging hospitals to test all patients who show signs of flu-like symptoms. He wrote: "Transmission from person to person in this country is increasingly common. There is evidence that sporadic cases are arising with no apparent link either to cases elsewhere in the UK or to travel abroad."

We have recently returned from an extensive 3 week combined business/travel trip involving transport on large airplanes internationally, bus tours, and inland ship cruising. During this time period, the Swine Flu emerging pandemic erupted. Needless to say, I am pleased to report that during the travels upon which I encountered many contiguous fellow travelers with deep coughing, sneezing, and inaccurate nose blowing, I came back healthy and rested: It is my belief that the anti-static and anti-microbial features of our Latitude Fifteen shirt protected me from germ or flu born atomized detritus (dust) often spread by vehicular air conditioning systems.
In addition the construction of our shirt uses an exposed mesh surface in which the Xstatic silveris exposed to enhance the ability of this “real” silver to protect me from illness by repelling electrostatically the atomized diseased particles from alighting as I wore the shirt traveling as my top layer. Additionally, silver is anti-microbial* should any detritus alight on your silver protected personna!
Good luck to you on your travels in these dangerous times.
Bob Hardy
*Latitude Fifteen claims from X-static include anti-microbial but not anti-viral
